Kim 01As a Board Certified Child and Adolescent and Adult psychiatrist, I work with children, teenagers, college students, young adults, and their families.

I have a longstanding practice in the Pioneer Valley in Massachusetts which has transitioned to telehealth. Individuals are welcome to contact me for video linked telehealth treatment.

I work collaboratively with each individual and strongly believe in a treatment that combines psychotherapy with medication if indicated. I work with individuals in short term, problem focused models as well as longer term psychodynamic psychotherapy. I have a particular interest in the nutritional and mindfulness based components of recovery.

My expertise is helping children, adolescents and young adults overcome issues impacting family, peer, partner relationships and achieving or reestablishing your goals within a school, college/university and work setting. This can also include but is not limited to addressing mood challenges as with Depression and Bipolar Disorders, Anxiety and Post Traumatic Stress Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorder and learning and behavioral challenges, Obsessive/Compulsive Disorders, Tic Disorders, Psychotic and Dissociative Disorders.

I welcome patients with medically complex challenges as well as those with a history of early trauma impacting attachment and relational capacity.

I do not work with individuals with primary eating disorders or primary substance abuse disorder as those treatments are best addressed in specialized and multifaceted practices. Additionally I do not provide evaluations for disability or court required child custody.
